Whoosh! App Reviews

Why sign in

This was a great app and I used it all the time. Then it started making me sign in every time. The reason I used it was to save time. Now I dont use it.

Cant retrieve password

Says it sends an email but never does. Cant sign in. Tried deleting and signing up again but it says my phone number is associated w an account. Says to call for help but leaves no number.

HORRIBLE!

The new onsite machine installed in May 2016 in Mount Prospect are just HORRIBLE! They are slower than the replaced machines and inaccurate. I press 3 and screen shows 9. Do it again and same results. This company charges extra for app usage and it is clear why.

Payment

Fix the payment options please.. I cant choose my default card for example.. The app picks whatever card by itself even if it is not working. Or add a delete button for them..

Needs fixing

Often I get through checking in and it finally says sorry not operational at this time. Thats terrible and cost me time and discomfort. Also it seems to ask me to reenter my credit card information each time and thats really bad. Ill stop using it unless you get this fixed.

Duration 8 hour max?? Normal work day is at least 12

Good idea but must increase duration time.

Inaccurate

Doesnt recognize the actual time Im parking. Its an hour later. The kiosk is too slow and the app isnt accurate. Also, keeps saying my credit card isnt valid when I know there are no problems.

Ok!

The app functions well. It has an intuitive UI. But I still find myself getting tickets a lot because it doesnt operate well with my local city police meter force. Ill take my receipt from whoosh to the ticket office and the ticket gets taken care off. But that is a hassle. I would say out of 30 whoosh tickets Ive still gotten 9 parking tickets.

Bad implementation.

Personal information section asks for city where you live, returns error saying must enter state where you live but doesnt accept that either, written out or abbreviated. Additionally, the time is wrong with no way to correct it, nor does it allow you any increments under an hour. Worthless app.

Not bad

Very convenient only thing is they charge .35 cents more than the actual city charges at the parking boxes, but if you dont have change of the meter doesnt take dollars this is the way to go

Buggy, unreliable. Had to delete it

Often I try to use this app. enter all of the information, the car, the location and the time and it will say unable to process at this time. That happened again today so I purchased parking with my credit card. I found out later that the transaction was processed even though it never sent me a confirmation. So I ended up paying for parking twice. Previously I got a $40.00 parking ticket using this app. Great concept but lousy execution. Im done with it. Delete

Very unreliable

Today after 2 tries Whoosh! told me that the transaction wouldnt go through, to check my wifi connection (which is fine in my car). I got out and paid the fee at the kiosk. When I got home I realized it had gone through (I never hit "finish"). So I paid twice. Really annoying.

Great app

Very convenient

Would be awesome if it worked all the time

"Temporarily out of service" is ridiculous. Fix your app!

Constantly getting an error

Used to work great. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still every time I try to buy a ticket it says Whoosh has an error. Please help I love this app otherwise.

What happened to its alerts?

I rely on the alerts to be able to go out and move my car or add more time, but the past several times Ive used it the alerts havent come up even after I said it one time I got lucky but this time I got a ticket. I cant rely on the built-in tools on this Ill just go back to feeding the meter monster with quarters.

Fine app

Please create an option to turn off reminders for when parking expires. Also create an option for Favorites so those of us that park in the same lot everyday dont need to go find it on a map each time.

Stablilized in Radnor

App should remember the password or use the fingerprint.Gotten better. 4 for 4 with the app recognizing the spots in Radnor township over past 2 weeks. Overall now 4 for 7.

Had to use cash instead. Sigh.

Used in Wayne PA just outside Philly. The downloaded app took a long time to display a clear indicator of which "meter" was closest and I needed to start the transaction several times until it was certain that the proper spot had been identified. Once the transaction was ready to be processed, it could not be completed due to "lack of internet connection." That error message was surprising given the fact that I was receiving four bars of service for T-Mobile and had successfully been able to download the application. Quite the opposite of my experience with a competitors product called MeterUp.

Learn from Meter Up

This app is well intended, but short on execution. It should remember me instead of repeatedly asking for a PW every time I log in. A default vehicle selection needs to be added too. Perhaps, the app could also use the fingerprint login to simplify access?
